Gndevaz-Jermuk highway closed due to rockslide

Around 3:00 am on January 29, pieces of a cliff fell onto Gndevaz-Jermik interstate highway at the 1st km and blocked traffic, Armenian Ministry of Transport and Communication reported.

Road crews immediately started to remove the rock slide. Both lanes were closed, but the highway is expected to reopen to traffic by 8:00 pm.
