Serviceman killed in Nagorno Karabakh

A serviceman of the Defense Army of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic died as a result of a ceasefire violation by the Azerbaijani side. 20-year-old soldier Karen Galstian was shot dead by an Azerbaijani sniper on January 28. He received a gunshot wound to the head, the press service of the NKR Defense Ministry said.

The incident occurred on a frontline position of a military unit in the northern direction. An investigation is being conducted.
