Soldier Karen Galstian posthumously awarded medal

President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakian has signed a decree to award the Medal for Service in Battle to Private Karen Galstian posthumously for courage displayed while defending the state border of the NKR.

20-year-old Karen Galstian, a serviceman of a military unit of the NKR Defense Army, was killed by an Azerbaijani sniper’s bullet on January 28.
