Free hot meals provided to 400 vulnerable residents of Yereva

The charity programs implemented by the German Red Cross in Yerevan were discussed at the meeting of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margarian and a delegation led by Michael Waibel, Head of External Relations at the German Red Cross.

Welcoming the guests, T. Margarian expressed his gratitude for the charity programs and the humanitarian mission carried out by the organization in the capital city.

M. Waibel thanked the mayor for his warm reception, noting that their efficient cooperation with the Yerevan municipality will continue.

More than 400 socially vulnerable residents of Kanaker-Zeytun, Kentron and Erebuni administrative districts of the city have been provided free hot meals under the cooperation program signed between Yerevan Municipality and the German Red Cross in Armenia in October 2013.
