Armenian education minister meets with Georgian president

Armenian Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotian met with Georgian President Georgy Margvelashvili, the press service of the ministry reported.

At the meeting Armen Ashotian conveyed to G. Margvelashvili best regards from Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.

The sides noted that education is an important platform, which gives an opportunity to preserve and pass on the national traditions and values and also creates a firm basis for the strengthening and promotion of the friendship between the peoples of Armenia and Georgia.

The interlocutors expressed confidence that the ministries of the two countries have no problems that are impossible to solve with joint efforts.
