Samvel Karapetian 2nd on Russian real estate tycoons’ list

Russia-based billionaire of Armenian descent Samvel Karapetian has been ranked second on the Russian real estate tycoons’ list released by the Russian Forbes. He improved his position on the Forbes list: he was ranked third in 2013. S. Karapetian’s rental income amounts to $960 million, while his wealth is estimated at $3.8 billion.

Samvel Karapetian heads the real estate firm Tashir Group, which owns 24 shopping centers, seven office centers, and seven hotels. His companies operate in 25 regions of Russia, but recently he has focused on launching new projects in the Moscow area.
