Naira Zohrabian speaks against monopoly on political power

“Our country is facing serious challenges, and drastic systemic changes are necessary,” the secretary of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) faction Ms. Naira Zohrabian told reporters today.

According to her, the four non-coalition factions of the parliament are trying to form a political agenda. “We follow the principle of small steps and let’s not rush things and stop talking about what we will do later,” she said.

As a solution to the current problems in the country, she noted that there should be no monopoly of one political force.

“They constitute the majority and the key of solutions is in their hands. They are guided by the principle ‘there are many of us and it is up to us to decide’ and they rejects all proposals. Such a situation must not continue for a long time,” N. Zohrabian said.
