French ambassador: Armenia pursues pro-European policy

Armenia is pursuing a pro-European policy: it is a participant of Eastern Partnership program and is involved in the Bologna Process, French Ambassador to Armenia Henri Reynaud said today.

‘The European direction remains at the center of the Armenian authorities’ attention despite the fact that in September 2013 Armenia announced its decision to join the Customs Union,” Henri Reynaud said.

In his words, agreements opening new spheres of cooperation were reached at the Vilnius summit.

‘Armenia-EU relations received renewed impetus at that summit. Armenia has pursued a pro-European policy since its independence,” the French ambassador noted.
