Thai ambassador presents credentials to Armenian president
The newly-appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Armenia Itti Ditbanjong (diplomatic residence in Moscow) today presented his credentials to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, according to the presidential press service.
The president congratulated the Thai ambassador on assuming his duties and wished him success during the diplomatic mission in Armenia. S. Sargsyan expressed hope that Mr. Ditbanjong’s knowledge and experience will contribute to the development and strengthening of relations between Armenia and Thailand.
The interlocutors shared the opinion that there is great potential for bilateral cooperation in various spheres. In this connection they attached importance to the expansion of the legal and contractual field, the promotion of economic ties between the two countries and their efficient cooperation in inter-parliamentary and international organizations. The president and Thailand’s ambassador indicated jewelry sector, agriculture, tourism, culture and some other spheres as perspective in terms of developing Armenian-Thai trade and economic relations and exchanging the experience.
Ambassador Ditbanjong stated that he will do his best to promote the interstate ties and strengthen the centuries-old friendship between the two peoples.
