Hayrikian: Demands for government resignation are laughable

The demands for the government to resign are laughable, the chairman of Union for National Self-Determination Party (AIM) Paruyr Hayrikian told reporters today.

“There are constitutional procedures for this demand. I think that at the moment such demands are mere talk,” Hayrikian said.

In his words, demands for the prime minister’s resignation are not worth attention.

“Whoever replaces Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan will carry out Serzh Sargsyan’s wishes. People demanding Tigran Sargsyan’s resignation cannot be serious,” Hayrikian noted.
