Iranian ambassador: Karabakh conflict can be settled only peacefully

Iran cannot be indifferent to the conflicts existing in the region, Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohsen Pak Ayeen said.

In an interview with IRNA news agency, the ambassador said that “Iran’s security is related to the security of regional countries”. “We cannot remain indifferent to the conflicts existing around,” he noted.

‘The relations with the countries involved in the Karabakh conflict and a balanced policy are an important factor which contributes to the conflict resolution. We are sure that a settlement by peaceful means is the only way to resolve the Karabakh conflict,” the Iranian ambassador said.
