Seyran Ohanian: Enemy cannot curb revanchist ambitions

Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanian made a speech at the 10th congress of Yerkrapah Volunteer Union today.

At the beginning of his speech, the minister greeted - on behalf of the Armed Forces and himself - all their comrades- in-arms, all those who did not spare their own lives during the struggle for Artsakh and Armenia.

“The army and freedom fighters are the two essential components of the homeland’s defense. Their unity with the state is our most important goal. The unity of the state, the army, and freedom fighters is invincible,” Seyran Ohanian stated, stressing that today’ congress is being held in the conditions of tensions on the border.

“The enemy cannot curb its revanchist ambitions anymore,” the minister said, noting that Azerbaijani is violating the ceasefire even during the Olympics.

He promised to do his best to strengthen the foundations of the army - the guarantor of Armenia’s security.
