MES: Animal rescue phone calls not laughable

“I don’t think that Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) distributes its forces inefficiently by responding to phone calls related to the rescue of a dog or a cat. Animal rescue phone calls cannot be considered laughable or unnecessary,” Deputy Director of the MES Rescue Service Nikolai Grigorian told reporters today.

Animals are people’s friends and it is necessary to help them, Grigorian said, adding that the number of such calls has recently increased.
