Raffi Hovannisian slams Armenian authorities’ policy

Serzh Sargsyan isolated our country on the international arena. A vassal policy prevails in Armenia’s foreign policy,” the ex-presidential candidate, leader of Heritage Party Raffi Hovannisian said today.

Presidential elections were held in Armenia a year ago. Serzh Sargsyan won the elections.

“The European association program was rejected overnight in favor of the Customs Union where Armenia was not welcomed with open arms, to put it mildly. The agreements signed within the Customs Union resemble a betrayal,” R. Hovannisian noted.

“The authorities think they will succeed in keeping citizens from unification, but they are mistaken. Our objective is to establish new power through fair elections. The current wave of protests in the country shows that the policy of the current authorities is doomed to fail. We will return the rights and dignity to citizens, “ R. Hovannisian declared.
