Armenian MPs honor memory of all those killed in Ukraine
The head of Armenian National Congress (HAK) faction Levon Zurabian today proposed starting the parliament sitting with a minute of silence in memory of ‘those who died in Kiev as a result of use of deadly weapons by the authorities’.
For his part, the parliamentary speaker Hovik Abrahamian proposed observing a minute of silence in memory of all the people who died in clashes, including policemen.
The deputies started the National Assembly’s sitting with a minute of silence in memory of all those killed in Ukraine.
Deputy of Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) faction Margarit Yesayan told Levon Zurabian ‘not to use the developments in the neighboring country for political dividends’. “Why wasn’t such a proposal made when many of our compatriots died in Syria?” she asked.
