S. Avetisian: Non-coalition forces do not want problems’ solution
“The non-coalition factions of the parliament have reckoned that their initiative will not be successful,” the deputy of Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) faction Sukias Avetisian told Aysor.am when commenting on the non-coalition forces’ intention to hold a vote of no confidence in the government.
According to him, the imitation of a force talking the initiative, rather than a search for efficient solutions forms the basis of the parliamentary opposition’s initiatives.
“I want to give the following example: the non-coalition forces raised the issue of setting up a ‘gas commission’. We rejected that proposal, saying that it will take time to understand the core of the problem and the ways of its solution. When we held discussions and realized the necessity of such a commission, some of the non-coalition forces decided to boycott it. In reality these forces are trying to show that they are engaged in active political processes, but it is not in their interest to achieve real solutions,” Sukias Avetisian noted.
