Armen Movsisian opposed to creation commission on Nairit Plant

"If it were necessary, the government could bankrupt Nairit Plant instead of keeping so many workers,” Armenian Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisian said today.

In his words, this was no done not only because the enterprise owns valuable equipment, but also because a professional school exists there.

A large-scale program is being implemented jointly with Rosneft Company so it is inexpedient to set up a parliamentary commission for examining the plant’s problems at the moment, the minister said.

“At last a company able to invest $500 million has been found,” Movsisian said.
