Hovik Abrahamian assesses Ukrainian events as negative
“I have a low opinion of the ongoing events in Ukraine. I assess such developments resulting in deaths as very negative. It is the worst thing that can happen to a country and its people,” the Armenian parliamentary speaker Hovik Abrahamian told reporters today.
When asked if there is a similarity between the events in Ukraine and the events that took place in Yerevan on March 1, 2008, Hovik Abrahamian replied: “I don’t want to compare these events. In any case, one should do good deeds for people”.
He also declined to predict how the Ukrainian events may affect the situation in Armenia.
