Nairit Plant workers hold protest outside Armenian parliament

Workers of Nairit Plant are holding today a protest outside the Armenian parliament. Members of the ARF-Dashnaktsutyun Party’s youth wing joined the protesters. The parliament today discusses the creation of a commission to examine the credit obligations and deals of Nairit Plant.

Gerasim Vardanian, the head of the ARFD student union ‘Nikol Aghbalian’, said that those present do not believe the Armenian prime minister’s statements that a new enterprise will be built and Nairit staff may obtain jobs there.
