Armenian president convenes National Security Council’s sitting

Armenian President, Chairman of Armenia’s National Security Council (NSC) Serzh Sargsyan convened today a sitting of the NSC, the presidential press service said.

The participants discussed and approved the draft concept of the introduction of the probation service in the Republic of Armenia. Justice Minister Hrayr Tovmasian made the report about the draft.

Defense Minister Seyran Ohanian informed the NSC members about problems related to the development of the military component of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and the adoption of conceptual and normative- legal acts on the status and use of collective forces.

The members of the NCS discussed and approved the draft document on the list of measures to ensure the implementation of the European Neighborhood Policy’s Armenia-EU Action Plan in 2014-2015. The report was made by NSC Secretary Arthur Baghdasarian.
