Georgian president visits his friend’s family in Etchmiadzin

Following his meeting with Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin on Friday, Georgian President Georgy Margvelashvili visited the family of his friend Robert Abrahamian.



Photos of that meeting are posted on the Georgian president’s official Facebook page. Commentary on FB says that the future Georgian president first met R. Abrahamian and his family in 1987 while doing military service in the military unit of the city of Etchmiadzin.

Georgy Margvelashvili is on an official visit to Armenia.
