Armenian president confers diplomatic ranks

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has signed decrees about the conferment of diplomatic ranks, the presidential press service reported. Armenia’s Ambassador to Brazil Ashot Galoyan, Ambassador to Mexico Grigor Hovhannisian and Ambassador to Georgia Hovhannes Manukian have received the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

The rank of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary has been conferred on the head of 2nd division of Armenian Foreign Ministry’s European Department Paruyr Hovhannisian, presidential aide Varuzhan Nersisian, and Armenian Ambassador to Bulgaria Arsen Shoyan.
