Lawsuit over captive Mamikon Khojoyan to be filed to ECHR

Against Legal Arbitrariness NGO is going to file a lawsuit to the European Court of Human Rights concerning the issue of Armenian captive Mamikon Khojoyan who was recently freed by Azerbaijan.

“The incident should become a subject of discussion by the international community. The lawsuit against Azerbaijan will be ready in a week,” the NGO chairwoman Larisa Alaverdian said.

We would remind you that 77-year-old Mamikon Khojoyan was taken captive by Azerbaijan on January 28 of this year. He was freed two days ago. Doctors found numerous traces of violence and a gunshot wound on his body. M. Khojoyan is now at the Ijevan medical center.
