Azerbaijan violates ceasefire 200 times in past week

On March 2-8 the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire on the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan about 200 times, with over 1,300 shots being fired from arms of various calibers at Armenian frontline positions.

The Azerbaijani side’s activity was suppressed as a result of retaliatory actions taken by frontline units of the NKR Defense Army, according to the press service of Defense Ministry of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic.
