Two injured as car plunges into gorge

The Rescue Service of Ministry of Emergency Situations received information at 10:52 am today about a road accident. A rescue team was sent to the scene.

Under still unclear circumstances, a Mercedes left the road at 25th km of M-4 Interstate Highway’s Yerevan-Sevan section and plunged about 150 meters into a gorge.

Rescuers pulled the driver, 24, and two passengers, aged 47 and 52, from the car. The passengers received injuries. They were taken to the Abovian city medical center. Both are in satisfactory condition.
