HAK receives invitation to a meeting with Gagik Tsarukian

Armenian National Congress (HAK) Party received an invitation to a meeting with the leader of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Gagik Tsarukian, the head of HAK faction Levon Zurabian told reporters today.

“We will set up a delegation and meet,” Zurabian said. He did not rule out that HAK leader Levon Ter-Petrosian may meet with Tsarukian in the near future. “It is not ruled out that meetings at other levels will be held,” he noted.

According to Zurabian, a change of power will occur in Armenia with the participation of people and ‘now is the most efficient time”, while it is impossible to change anything through office meetings.

“In my opinion, BHK is an opposition force. There is a clear-cut principle: he who is not in power is in opposition,” the parliamentary deputy said.

Gagik Tsarukian has earlier met with members of ARF-Dashnaktsutyun Party Armen Rustamian, Hrant Margarian, and Aghvan Vardanian. Joint work of the political forces was discussed at the meeting.
