Seyran Ohanian raises instruction alarm in a military unit

Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanian paid today regular working visits to several military units. He was accompanied by Deputy Chiefs of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, General Lieutenant Haykaz Baghmanian and General Lieutenant Stepan Galstian and heads of departments, the press service of Defense Ministry said.

The minister met with the personnel of the units, familiarized himself with the moral and psychological atmosphere and social conditions of troops, as well as with construction work done in those units.

In order to check the degree of combat readiness of servicemen in one of the military units, Seyran Ohanian raised an alarm for instruction and personally followed the personnel’s actions. Troops were put on alert, vehicles and military equipment was deployed in the prescribed manner.

During his visit to an air force unit, the minister familiarized himself with large-scale construction work and inspected the state of military equipment and arms.

Seyran Ohanian gave a number of instructions and orders to the units’ commanders concerning efficient performance of their tasks.
