ICRC representatives bring Arsen Khojoyan’s family letter from son
Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) today handed over letters from Hakob Injighulian and Arsen Khojoyan – both held captive in Azerbaijan - to their families.
“I have just received a letter from Arsen. He writes that he loves us and misses us very much,” Svetlana, the mother of 23-year-old Arsen Khojoyan who crossed into Azerbaijan a few days ago, told the correspondent of Aysor.am.
Hakob Injughulian’s brother, Harutyun Injughulian, said: “He tells us to wait a little bit more and everything will be ok”.
Armenian soldier Hakob Injighulian, 23, crossed the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in August 2013 after he lost his way while on duty at night.
Resident of Varin Karmiraghbyur village in Armenia’s Tavush province Arsen Khojoyan, 23, crossed into Azerbaijani territory on March 7, 2014, under still unclear circumstances.
