Galust Sahakian: Opposition becomes alternative

The head of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) faction Galust Sahakian believes that the four non-coalition political forces should have put forward an idea before coming to an agreement.

“A question arises: the opposition becomes an alternative or an alternative becomes opposition? The former seems to be happening,” G. Sahakian told a briefing in the parliament.

According to him, some representatives of these political forces state about the need of systemic changes, but they do not say who will then come to power.

The major purpose of the non-coalition forces is to obtain power and positions, Galust Sahakian said.
