SEUA rector disagrees with audit results

At the special sitting of the Academic Council of the State Engineering University of Armenia (SEUA), SEUA rector Ara Avetisian announced that he had handed in his resignation, the university’s spokeswoman Veronica Khorasanian told Aysor.am.

Ara Avetisian said that in the current atmosphere of discord, he is unwilling to hold his position anymore so he submitted his resignation to the minister of education and science.

The rector stressed that he disagrees with the results of checks conducted by an audit commission at the SEUA, as a result of which misuse of funds was revealed.
