Hovhannisian: Azerbaijan’s aim is to increase tension in conflict zone

Azerbaijan aims to increase tension on the Line of Contact, while leaving ‘loopholes’ for provocations, Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisian told Aysor.am.

He denied Azerbaijani reports that an Azerbaijani soldier was killed in a shooting in the Fizuli direction of the Line of Contact.
“We call upon the Azerbaijani side to involve international observers in the investigation process,” A. Hovhannisian said.

Azerbaijan’s APA news agency reported that an Azerbaijani serviceman allegedly died today as a result of a ceasefire violation by the Armenian side.
