Armen Mkhitarian: Azerbaijan understands only language of arms

“At one time when Azerbaijan used to open fire on Armenian settlements at the start of agricultural season, the Armenian side usually dealt a retaliatory blow to their villages. As a result, Azerbaijan did its best to achieve an agreement and restraint through internal negotiations,” Armenian parliamentary deputy, chairman of the Union of Afghan War Veterans Armen Mkhitarian told Aysor.am.

In his words, history shows that the Azerbaijanis do not understand any language, except the language of arms, and their actions require a tough response.

“Residents of border regions have numerous problems. The situation worsens during agricultural work in areas within the enemy’s sight. In the situation when Azerbaijanis ignore international law and fire at civilian residents, it only remains to stop their actions at any price. I repeat, at any price. There are no two ways about it,” Mkhitarian said.
