Daniel Petrosian: Number of sectarians on the rise in Armenia

“There was a rift in Word of Life sect, but their number has only grown subsequently,“ the co-chairman of the United Youth League Sevak Hovhannisan told journalists today.

According to him, the sect members set up a new sect called God’s House that preaches the same ideas as Word of Life.

The co-chairman of the United Youth League Daniel Petrosian said for his part that the founder of Word of Life Ulf Ekman did not convert to Catholicism, but he became a member of another sect.

He said that the number of sectarians is on the rise in Armenia. Another sect called ‘Pentecost’ and led by a certain Ninel Movsisian was founded in Yerevan recently.
