PM: Artsakh people exercised self-determination right over 20 years ago

Speaking about the Crimea referendum, Prime Minister of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Ara Harutyunian said that he welcomes any exercise of peoples’ right to self-determination.

Ara Harutyunian stated that the people of Artsakh exercised the right to self-determination over 20 years ago and defended their rights during the war, according to the press service of the NKR government.

“Taking into account various standards in the world, we should build our future and statehood ourselves, first of all develop the defense capacity of the army, our economy and improve the demographic situation,” the prime minister said.
