Sanctions on Russia may affect Armenian economy

The sanctions on Russia may affect the Armenian economy, the secretary of Orinats Yerkir Party (OEK) parliamentary faction Mher Shahgedlian told reporters today.

“We should not forget that we are partners and considerable remittances are received from Russia. So it turns out that the sanctions on Russia may affect our economy as well,” Shahgeldian noted.

In his words, one should look for a general line in the Ukrainian, Iraqi and Arab conflicts.

“The multi-polar world emerged long ago. Although China, India and Russia have high development rates, the United States continues to be the strongest pole now,” the deputy said.
