Three suffer burns in Vandazor fire
An alarm call was received at 2:31 am on March 21 about a fire in a house in the city of Vanadzor, Lori province. A rescue crew was sent to the scene, according to Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The fire was extinguished prior to arrival of rescuer-firefighters. Furniture and a carpet in the living room were damaged. Three people were hospitalized to the Vanadzor medical center with burns.
Two of them suffered second-degree burns and were released from the hospital after treatment. The third person, aged 38, was transported to Yerevan Burn Center with third-degree burns. The patient’s condition is of medium gravity.
