Artsvik Minasian: Any authority should be guided by people’s will

“We can set a precedent thanks to this struggle when the people manage to turn their demand into a victory,” ARFD parliamentary faction deputy Artsvik Minasian stated today at the rally against the new compulsory accumulative pension system.

“We should do everything so that those in Armenia could realize at last that any authority should be guided by the will of its people. If we manage to keep our solidarity, we will succeed,” he noted.

In his words, many are trying to break the struggle of “I am against” movement, declaring that a joint struggle of political and civil forces is impossible.

“But this rally attended by thousands of citizens proves the opposite. It is the beginning of our victories,” Artsvik Minasian said.
