Speaker makes proposal to opposition factions

“I propose that you should send all the issues you voiced to the responsible bodies. After the answers are received, hearings should be organized,” the Armenian parliamentary speaker Hovik Abrahamian said, addressing the four non-coalition parties.

The opposition factions of the National Assembly intend to set up an interim commission to examine the validity and legality of imposing additional duties and fines on the population and business entities in 2012-2013.

“I think it is a good proposal. I propose discussing it. As parliamentary speaker, I promise effective hearings,” Hovik Abrahamian said.
