NA speaker: BHK will not demand president’s resignation

Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) will not demand the president’s resignation, the parliamentary speaker Hovik Abrahamian told reporters today. “I believe that BHK will not demand the president’s resignation,” he noted.

In his words, no initiative will go unnoticed, and if an initiative stems from concerns, “we are prepared to hear and discuss it”, the speaker said when commenting on the intention of the four non-coalition factions to hold a vote of no confidence in the government.

“In any case this format is acceptable to us. If there are problems and concerns in society, the parliament is a rostrum, from which the problems should be voiced and solutions be found,” Hovik Abrahamian said.
