Swiss Chairmanship of OSCE ready to assist OSCE Minsk Group

The Swiss Chairmanship of the OSCE is ready to give any kind of assistance to the OSCE Minsk Group and create the necessary conditions, the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office for the South Caucasus Angelo Gnaedinger told the Trend news agency (Azerbaijani).

In his words, during the meetings with Azerbaijani representatives over the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement he had constructive discussions with Foreign Minister Elmar Mamedyarov. According to S. Gnaedinger, at the meeting with the minister he said that the conflict is dangerous for the whole South Caucasian region.

Gnaedinger said Switzerland seeks to contribute to the conflict resolution within the OSCE framework and promote a dialog between diplomats and civil societies of the two countries. He stressed that the Swiss Chairmanship of the OSCE is ready to give any kind of assistance to the OSCE Minsk Group and help the sides intensify the dialog.
