BHK in favor of national consent government
The process of holding a vote of no confidence in the government has begun, the deputy of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) parliamentary faction Vahan Babayan said during a briefing in the parliament today.
“We believe that the whole government should resign. The matter concerns not only Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. We consider it inadmissible that Republican Sargsyan will be replaced by another Republican,” Babayan said.
In his words, if the parliamentary majority rejects changes, thousands of people will need to take to the streets.
“However, we do not want upheavals. The demands for a stage-by-stage change of power will be followed by demands for a complete change of power in the country. We know well what to do before and after April 28,” Babayan noted.
According to him, a national consent government should be formed.
