Armenian units ordered to stop Azerbaijani aggression at any cost

A number of Armenian villages in Tavush province of Armenia , particularly Aygepar, Nerkin Karmiraghbyur, Chinar, Movses and Paravakar villages have come under intense gunfire of the Azerbaijani side in recent days.

Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisian told Aysor.am that the Azerbaijan side has recently become active again.

“The enemy has fired not only at Armenian frontline positions, but also at settlements. The Armenian side did not suffer any casualties, but material damage has been done,’ Hovhannisian said. In his words, shots were fired from large-caliber guns and sniper rifles.

The ministry spokesman stressed that Armenian military units were ordered to stop Azerbaijan’s aggression at any cost. Defense Ministry is taking the necessary measures.
