Artak Davtian: Ruling party takes quiet approach to opposition plans
‘The demand for the government resignation is ripe and we will realize it. The four parties are developing an action plan and society will soon see the result of our work,” the deputy of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) faction Mikael Melkumian told reporters.
“The government has met with failure. Besides, we are developing a program to back out of the current difficult socioeconomic situation,” he noted.
For his part, the deputy of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) Artak Davtian said they take a quiet approach to the opposition plans to hold a vote of no confidence in the government because it is their constitutional right.
“It is hard to say what will happen in 26 days. Perhaps such a thing will not even happen. In any event, I am in favor of substantive discussions,” he noted.
