Armenian government to assist farmers hit by frost

The Armenian government will assist the farms hit by frost, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said.

According to him, the government and the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) will discuss financial problems. CBA Chairman Arthur Javadian said for his part that the matter concerns loans of 6 billion drams.

According to preliminary estimates, frost damaged 11 thousand hectares. Agriculture Ministry is examining the information, and final data will be released soon.
