Sahakian: Tigran Sargsyan had positive impact on Armenian economy

The Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) does not believe that Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan who tendered his resignation yesterday should be made answerable for the current state of the economy.

“Some people will not appreciate his work, but the lack of their appreciation does not mean that he should be blamed. We don’t share this opinion. Tigran Sargsyan has had a positive impact on the Armenian economy,” the head of HHK parliamentary faction Galust Sahakian told reporters today.

In his words, the country is not in crisis. “The new prime minister should continue the current programs. Continue, not change,” Galust Sahakian said.
