Azerbaijan didn’t confirm readiness to receive Armenian delegation

Asked if Armenia will attend the sitting of the Committee of Chiefs of General Staffs of CIS member states in Baku on April 8, Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisian replied that the Secretariat of the Council of CIS Defense Ministers has not received any verbal or written official confirmation of Azerbaijan’s readiness to ensure the reception of the Armenian delegation.

“We mean first of all de-facto regulation of all issues related to the unobstructed crossing of the state borders of Azerbaijan and transit countries as well as the implementation of customs and border control procedures,” Hovhannsian said.
