HHK Executive Body sitting ends. 13th PM not announced

The sitting of the Executive Body of Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) has just ended. Internal political issues were discussed at the sitting, HHK spokesman Edward Sharmazanov said following the sitting.

In his words, President Serzh Sargsyan spoke about the process of consultations with political factions.

“A sitting of the HHK Supreme Body and Board will take place on Monday, after which the prime minister’s name will be announced,” Sharmazanov said without naming the candidate for prime minister.

According to him, the discussions are still underway so he cannot say anything. In response to the remark that Hovik Abrahamian has been mentioned as the likely candidate for prime minister, Sharmazanov said that answers to all questions will be given on Monday.

“You will learn the 13th prime minister’s name on Monday”, the spokesman for HHK said.
