Armenian patients to receive Plavix medication free of charge
Armenian Health Ministry has supplied Plavix medication to medical institutions of the capital city and provinces. The medication used to treat people with heart problems was provided as humanitarian aid by the United Armenian Fund (UAF).
According to the press service of Health Ministry, all patients, regardless of social groups, may apply to their district polyclinics and outpatient clinics in Yerevan and Armenian provinces to receive Plavix free of charge.
The ministry guarantees the quality and efficiency of drugs distributed to citizens as humanitarian aid. All these drugs undergo laboratory tests and their import and distribution are permitted only in case of positive recommendations.
All medical institutions of Armenia also received a supply of insulin for patients registered at Republican Center of Humanitarian Aid, the ministry reports, urging citizens to call the hotline 010-52-88-72 in case of any problems related to provision of drugs.
