Defense minister pays surprise visit to a military unit

Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanian paid a surprise visit to a military unit of the Armenian armed forces this morning, the press service of Defense Ministry said.

He watched the reveille and morning exercises of the unit personnel.

Seyran Ohanian also familiarized himself with the military preparedness and social conditions of servicemen. The minister said that each soldier should understand that he makes his contribution to the homeland’s defense and that the unit’s fighting efficiency is conditioned by conscientious service of each of them.

The minister gave instructions to the unit commanders for elimination of a few shortcomings revealed during his visit.
