Hovhannes Sahakian elected head of Committee on State and Legal Affairs

Hovhannes Sahakian, secretary of Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) parliamentary faction, has been elected as chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs.

86 deputies participated in the vote. 80 voted for Sahakian, 5 voted against. One ballot paper was declared null and void.

H. Sahakian thanked HHK for nominating him as candidate. He also thanked deputies of HHK and Prosperous Armenia (BHK) factions for their participation in the vote.
